How do you feel about this collaboration?
What are the attractive points of yukatas and kimonos for you?
I’m glad to have the 2nd collaboration with KIMONO by NADESHIKO. This time, I met Mayu (creator), Takayuki (CEO) and people who ran the pop-up store in Paris. It was an excellent opportunity for me to get to know this brand, and I realized that it is important to communicate directly with the creators.
Then, I was able to discover that the fabrics are made in Japan in the traditional way. Jewelry, which I was fascinated with, is entirely handmade. In the same way, geta, with their hand-painted cork soles, are very beautiful.
I’m sure that this 2nd collaboration will be even more accomplished than the first. Each element of our products plays a role in a little story about Spike, my dachshund, and the things that bring me happiness: nature and animals. And I like to tell stories through our collections, so that visitors don’t just buy a garment or an accessory, but a piece of our story.
Thanks to Etsuko (director), the photos are magnificent! Thank you, too!
